Hello guys!

I'm getting intermittent error code 41...

I have already replaced flywheel sensor and DI module

I have double checked and cleaned all the connectors

I have cleaned MEMCAL connector

I have open the ECM body and it looks ok

So next best thing is to change ECM or is it??

I'm looking a new ECM for my Esprit and I have found this site www.autoecms.com

My ECM is GM 01228708 and they have it on stock (110

Thanks Paul...

Jukka you are looking in the right area. Code 41 is "engine speed signal missing". Intermittent problems are often bad connections. Do you have pages 66 and 67 of the EMH manual. The full diagnostics for Code 41 is there.

If you are working on anything ECU related you have got to get Freescan up and running.

Jukka,

Before you buy a new ECU/ECM you should get Freescan first and also follow Dermot's advise.

I dont say that ECM/ECUs cannot break, but it's more common something else goes wrong ...

Please check connections, bad earth, sensor ... first.

Cheers

Marcus

Yes I have pages 66 and 67 and I have done all the tests.

The EMH manual doesn't say anything about flywheel sensor wirings? I will test that wire again.

Mayby I need that freescan...
