talon
Somebody did a good job on this Europa http://www.wreckedexotics.com/newphotos/ex...71217_001.shtml Same with this elise http://www.wreckedexotics.com/newphotos/ex...80105_003.shtml
Paul C
The sections they have on wrecked Exotics are well strange. I can understand why there are sections for the M3 and M5... But why does wrecked exotics have a section for bog standard bmw 3 series and 5 series? Is a run of the mill 318 with corner damage something to lament about, or is it just me? Where is the passat section?
Mark Blanchard
The term exotic means unusual / not common and the M3 and M5 are as common as muck, so they shouldn't be on Wrecked Exotics IMO! However, the Europa S is seriously uncommon and should be on the site, even though I would rather it wasn't . Gold FFM scott Posted March 11, 2008 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 11, 2008 Except me!..........9 have gone through B&C doors now, and I expect a few more with the recent announcements. BTW Europa S chassis number 0001 has now done 14000 fault free miles, and with the 225 upgrade is quite happy to spit me rapidly and quietly up and down the A11 - it's a great little car. Cheers. Scott.
Lowtus
9 have gone through B&C doors now Whilst progress, I believe that is still less than the number of teeth found in the mouth of a typical hen! Yes, the recent announcement brings much more realistic pricing to the range and will hopefully get sales moving along. It's unfortunate the effect of initial pricing ambition is to nail the handful of early buyers (who I guess are unlikely to be Lotus virgins) with some serious depreciation. Kimbers
Scott. It goes to show that selling is a state of mind. I will sell anything to anyone because I have no preconceptions and make no judgements. I do love the Europa to drive and it gets more looks than the more commonly seen Elise. Like Mr Lowtus says, I think they've done the right thing in the new pricing/models. Quote Possibly save your life. Paul C
And people keep saying they haven't sold one! Ha! Nah the've deffo sold one, but ask how many they have sold and you get silence... Spooky! Mark, as much as i loathe them, i conceeded the M5 and M3 should be there, but ordinary generic 3 series and 5 series cars is really taking the piss IMO. stephenbirdsall
Hardly wreaked though is it ? From what I've seen in films and TV programmes, our American friends tend to call everythin a 'wreck', even the slightest little prang.
