Trunnion bush kit

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I'm about to put my front suspension back together and have bought the trunninon bush kit because the old ones was worn out.

When i dissasembled the front suspension i didn't take notice of how the nyloc/steel/rubber bushes on the trunnion was placed. :P

Does annyone have a picture or drawing of how it's supposed to be?

Take one nylon top hat shaped piece, put it through one of the large (very thin) shaped washers (it only fits through one type), put the rubber washer (like a rubber band) round the large diameter of the nylon piece, cover with the other type of shaped washer. that's one half, the other should be identical.

And use grease on the nylon piece, outside and inside, it helps reduce wear.
