USAndretti42
Good luck in your new role, Tony. Big change, not just a new job but a new venture. Hope all goes well. I'm sure that with your combination of good looks, great intelligence, suave sophistication and engaging personality you will succeed at anything you do. (BTW, I think the combination is 1% of the first, 5% of the second, 3% of the third balanced by 91% of the last. ) Quote S4 Elan, Elan +2S, Federal-spec, World Championship Edition S2 Esprit #42, S1 Elise, Excel SE

yeller77
Good Luck on the move, Tony! Career moves are a bit like bungie jumping: big leap of faith, exhilaration when the cord calculations prove just right! (plus, a nice diverse experience in the industry can make way for bigger and better things!) Remember, Enterprise in the States did it! Kimbers
I am taking over a fleet of 1250 cars to begin with and with 62 franchisee's we need to grow that to 2500 this year. This is my main aim to begin with. Don't forget everything is x2 as we revolve the fleet every 6 months. Am looking forward to the challenge. With things moving the way they are I think more people will tend to go with either 1 family car or with a smaller, greener car and then rent when they need something to go on holiday with. The main area of growth, however is Business rentals. Companies just don't want the costs, depreciation or tax implications of owning cars and long term 3 year leases are much less attractive than a short term 6 month lease, at the same cost, but where you can cancel at any time, change cars every 6 months and have no servicing costs (as the car goes back before it reaches it's first service). Simon, as for plans in Aus....god I hope so!! Quote Possibly save your life. Check out this website.http://everyman-campaign.org/ Distributor for 'Every Male' grooming products. nfulcher
Howard Normally the likes of Lotus, Ferrari, RR, bentley have their own grouping as "Life style" choice cars. Normally small production numbers and the specialist types of car mean they are not within the "normal" public domain when it comes to car decisions and therefore not in the the bandings. If you look at residuals though, many of them are quite good. A 3 year old Bentley may be worth 50-60% of it's original value, but lets not forget that the depreciation alone may equal 3 normal cars' purchase price! Thanks for all the kind comments. May I offer you my congratulations along with all the rest of the members, I wish you every success in your new venture and I am sure you will excell at it. I am looking for an apprentice at the moment and you might have fitted the bill, (bugger) never mind. caulkhead68
Well done Tony and good luck in the new job.
