Use mine every day, but then I only have 10 miles to get to work so sometimes I take the long route home just for the sheer hell of it

In 13 months it's let me down twice.

1st time was 3 weeks after getting it and the clutch slave cylinder went, luckily it was on my drive at the time and I replaced both master and slave and the red hose

2nd time was when the radiator let go on the motorway, that was fun !

Honda Accord - company car - 40,000 miles per year

VW Sharan - wife and 4 boys

S4 - week-ends and any other time I can think of an excuse. I think it's the perfect family car 'cos only me and 1 off-spring can fit in it - the others (and hence the noise) have to go in one of the others with my wife!!

Renault Laguna used daily (company bus) about 3,000 per year

Smart roadster coupe, used daily if my other half needs the boot in the Laguna, 2,000

S4 weekends, sunday morning run & Britball once a year 6,000

The S4 is used the least but does the most miles? how does that work?!? It definately feels better after being driven though, on Britball 1200 miles over the weekend & after the event i could have driven the route again, Esprits definately need to be driven often.

Gary,

We are doing very well.

Still have guest staying with us from huricane Katrina. Now comes huricane Rita!

Where I live is between where each storm hit. We had strong winds with plenty of downed trees for both.

Kartina hit with more power, but being on the East side of Rita, we had more flooding locally. Here is our local newspaper www.houmatoday.com.

Thanks for asking.

BTW, the Lotus is just fine. Will probably take out tomorrow for a "brisk walk." B)

My S4s isn't my daily driver, but I still manage to put 8-15K miles on it a year. These miles are evenly split between short trips (around town or to Orlando) and several long 1000+ trips each year (Atlanta Historic Races, LOG, etc.).

Based on the above, I don't know which option to check in your poll.

BTW: I bought it new and I have about 68K miles on it now

Cheers,

KFM :)

Great topic.

I live only three blocks from work - easy walking distance. That said, when I need to go somewhere after work and therefore drive, I always take the long scenic route to work (7 miles).

2001 Audi S4 - less than 7000 miles per year, but now driven much less now that I have a...

1981 VW diesel Rabbit (aka Golf) - estimate about 3000 miles per year

1984 Lotus Turbo Esprit - driven about once a week, maybe only 1000 miles per year

1972 Lamborghini Miura SV - driven every day in my mind, since I don't own one
