Tyres and Wheels

Recommended Posts

Ok ... I read some and searched some ... but I am still just as confused.

The Turbo SE has funny sized OEM tyres ... we all know that ... and I read about recommended/suggested different tyre options ... however what I would like to know is the difference in tyre sizes that can be used whilst keeping within tolerances for handling and of course safety.

I don't plan on upgrading the wheels anytime soon ... but if I do then I will probably be coming back to ask the bolt pattern ... so thought I would save myself the return journey too. lol

So .. any thoughts on sizes outside of OEM ?

Thanks

Fronts are the problem with only a limited choice for 215/50R15, at least in the US. I've been using Dunlop SP5000 for the last 2 years and have been happy with them. Tirerack list them for $120 ea. Doesn't seem worth moving away from the spec size when these are available.
