Drfatz
It is under the binnicale cover. If you pull off the cover you will see it more then likely cable tied up at the back of your gauges. At least on an SE it is a blue Hella Relay and is $70 USD to replace. Mine dash light went dead awhile ago and I have tried to fix it by replacing the transistor that is in the flasher relay, but of course they no longer make the transistor so after messing with it for weeks I just broke down and bought a new one. Apparently they were used on early 90s Range Rovers so I managed to pick one up from a guy in England for $30 USD, they are part number 4DM003360-00. Good Luck! lotus4s
On your S4 there is a flasher under the binnacle but my guess would be the signal stalk switch. Quote 1995 S4s
