karmavore 2
Unless the bolts are exposed under the weather stripping (rubber seals) I can't imagine how to do it. Anyone know? Lucas. karmavore 2
Right. You don't have an sa. :-) Lucas. ..the wing moves with the hatch. It is attached to the hatch, mid way up. s4simon 153
Look closer and you'll see some black tape covering the holes. This tape is half covered by the rubber seal. If you press on the tape you can feel the holes - where you'll find the mounting bolts. Quote Simon (94 S4) My Esprit will be for sale in late 2017

andrewp1989 1
Remove the S4 wing as described . . . . and then please give it to me. AP
hovgaard 2
Andrew, are you shopping for an inexpensive S4 wing? I was just considering getting rid of mine. Quote Jens Proud member of The Fearless Red Squadron Better living through turbocharging!
Loose Cannon 582
Eh? Why is everyone getting rid of one of the nicest styling features on an S4? Mine had one fitted in a previous incarnation. You can STILL see where it went and the damage done to expose the bolts/hacksaw them off (they will certainly be rusted solid by now) and the filled holes as the putty shrinks. All this despite hundreds spent by the previous owner on paint etc. I am considering reitting it just to cover it all up. hovgaard 2
If it's like that, I might as well put my entire bootlid up for sale. Andrew? Anyone? Quote Jens Proud member of The Fearless Red Squadron Better living through turbocharging!
karmavore 2
I think I decided against it.... it's the only thing unique to the S4.
