Can anyone help with this. The motor works fine both ways if directly conected to a battery but will only go up with either driver or passenger switchs. I've tried 2 new switches and its still the same. The motor has 2 wires (power + ground) and when energised the window will go up, to get it to go down the polarity is reversed. The problem i have is on the up phase everything is fine but on the down phase both wires are live which causes the motor not to work.

Looking at the circuit diagram, there's something in the circuit called a "Window Voltage Module" (looks like a relay and is located just below the fusebox under the bonnet (first relay (from the cockpit), inboard)).

Don't know how expensive it is, but you could try giving it a "technical tap" or reseating it before buying a new one.

Please let us know how you go.

Cheers.

Ian

Fixed it! It was a wire loose on the drivers side switch, had me stumped for a while as it was only the passenger window that didn't work. Thanks for the help though Ian and thanks to Troy for the wiring diagram info.
