painting brake calipers - Suspension/Brakes/Wheels/Hubs/Steering/Geo - The Lotus Forums #ForTheOwners Jump to content

I've got a sport 350, and the front calipers are blue (i guess powder coated). Howver there looking pretty lousy at the moment, anyone got any experience with painting calipers. Are there any easy to apply paints (in situe) that can take the heat...and are available in sport 350 blue :D

The paint on my plenum cover is all cracking off too, anyone had these repainted/powder coated. If so, by who?

no easy ways to do this. you need to carefully wire brush off all of the old paint. nearly impossible to do in place. clean with isopropyl alcohol. primer optional. no special rules for applying the paint., and it isn't too expensive.
