The Colour is "Chairo Blue" (pronounced Cairo). Carlo jsut hasn't removed the ad yet! After all - While I paid the deposit 2 1/2 weeks ago, the deal was only fully closed on Friday afternoon! the day of viewing / doing the deal is a whole story unto itself! (I flew to Edinburgh and back in an evening and was there for just less than an hour and a half! Rock n Roll! lol )

Troy will be doing all non-specialist servicing as he knows what he's doing! Anything specialist / outside of Troy's experience will be done by Mike Pullen who is "the" independent to go to.

What I did hear on Sunday from David Price who runs Lamborghini Club UK... is that the hourly rate... at THE Lamborghini factory itself... in Santa Agata.... Is... (get this!).... 40-50 Euros per hour! :o

The later VT's were slightly slower due to all the extra weight of the 4WD "Viscose Traction" system. The earlier 2WD cars were F*ing quick! Having had the space to really nail it a few times last night I can safely attest to that! ;)

i do belive young robin got the colour wrong as on another forum the previous owner has posted and stated its "bonzai blue", i think the chairo blue is a standard choice.

anyway ITS BLUE lol, and shiny. and all the other lambo club uk ppl said they have never ever seen the blue shade before backed up by carlo saying thats is was a 5k commision, carlo has sold this car personally 4 times.

alan i think the deal is,,,,your wing for your name to replace mine on the insurance LOL.

I've got no problem with 'picture heavy' when they look as good as that.

How many miles have you put on her now Robin? Any snags or has it been fairly trouble free motoring?

I've probably done about 3-4000 miles now.

Changed plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm. From 'official' sources - price ~

Performance-wise, those Veyrons are absolutely something else!

Somewhere, there's a pic of me in the Diablo right up the Chuff of one of the Veyrons... BRIEFLY!!!

OMG Those things are *FAST* - on an entirely different level to that which we can conceive!

I was doing 140 on a track and accelerating in 4th and one of them came out of nowhere right up my backside like I do to everything else on the road!

They are fast relative to a Diablo, like a Diablo is fast relative to a Fiesta!

Anyone wanting more pics - One of the guys took these:

Now lets put this in perspective, what have we got here

Some genuine Porkers

Some re-badged VWs

A division of BMW

And a hybrid Fiat

The best thing there is a replica Ford!

Where were the Lotus's, already arrived at the destination and you guys hadn't got to breakfast. :D Of course if I could actually afford any of them I might want one. But in fairness I never dreamed of owning any of them when i was 12 years of age, I only had eyes for Lotus's and I have remained faithful to my first love! :)

:D

And about a zillion horsepower of autoporn.

Personally the only thing there that attracts me would be the Diablo too. Must be a wedge/pop-up headlights thing.

But if we have to suffer any more dancing donkey pics then I insist on some more Bull!

No replicas there.

There was very nearly an original, racing GT40 too!

I saw my first genuine GT40 at the Lamborghini Club UK annual dinner a couple of months back - I never thought I'd ever see one!

Then NEXT meet - now THAT is going to be soemthing else - we will definitely get the cars that couldn't turn up on sunday! Jan's 'egg, Peter's Zonda and possibly some rubbery faced guy's F1!
