Need fitting measurements on new V8 wing

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone.

Is there someone here that can help a lost soul from Sweden? I need to know where to put the new V8 wing e.g i need someone to measure from the "bottom" of the trunk to where the wing starts, in cm if possible. I am putting the New V8 wing on a 96 V8.

Please ask if my explanation in was unclear....

Thank you very much in advanced......

PJ

Are you putting a Lotus V8 wing on the bodywork of your Esprit or a later V8 wing to tailgate?

If I had mine here I could measure where the fixing holes are as my V8 wing is removed and in the loft. Unfortunately its still down at Hethel! I have photos though if they are of any help

Hi again,

I will look for the dims tomorrow. I know that the hole centres are 140mm apart. I think the first hole is 70mm from rear of tailgate but I will check this tomorrow.

Regards,

Dave Walters

Is this readable? It was faxed by the factory when we first started fitting the new shape wings to Esprits, so it's been in the bottom of my toolbox for about ten years!
