Charity Rally for the Braille Institute

Recommended Posts

FYI all the SoCal locals ....

The Braille Rally, a sports car rally organized by the Braille Institute in Los Angeles, where sightless students demonstrate their proficiency in Braille by performing as navigators. For those of us who love to drive our "fun" cars, it's an incredible day's outing. This year, there is a shortage of volunteers who have signed up, so I would like to invite those who would like to do a good deed and exercise their sports car (or other interesting ride) to join me on July 12 and be part of this year's event.

The Rallye starts at the Braille Institute at 10 A.M. and finishes in the South Bay early afternoon. Snacks and lunch are provided. There is a $10 registration fee payable at the event. The cut-off for registration is July 5, 2008.

Feel free to contact me or Pat West (Email: [email protected]), who is the volunteer organizer for the event, with any questions you may have.

I hope to see some of you on July 12th.
