On a serious note mate, set a reserve you want to achieve,

or get a mate to bid at least what you want on the car.

I say this as friendly advice. Your feedback is only 14, you have sold

only 4 items on Ebay (none are recent enough to be viewable), and on

inspection your buying history is a Mariah Carey CD and a Laura Ashley

coat. This will attract both low bids and of course utter cretins.

People will shy away from such low history, or history based on very cheap &

no value items. This is the kind of listing i look for, and the type i have made

most of my tunaround on Ebay (eg

I never 'crap', I might have said 'cheap' and of 'no value', and, err,

i might have (reading it again) suggested it might attract 'cretins'...

But i did not say crap. I think Maria Carey is a very talented lady and

in absolutely in no way totally and utterly mental. And i think that Laura

Ashley was really good in that 'men behaving badly' on the telly and stuff

like that, although i think it sad she is so hard up that she is selling her

clothes off now.

I only make jokes about things i know everything about, otherwise it's

too easy to get your facts all wrong and look daft.

On a serious note you have to be patient with selling a car so rare as this.

I hate the morons as well, but stick with it - ebay isn't probably the best place to sell a car if you want to avoid the clowns.

I agree Ebay isn't a good place buy its fun and easy.Piston heads was a waste of time for my Range Rover.

Still worth a free try on PH. (posibly a better class of timewaster, I dont know)

I've been lucky I guess - sold two cars this year at the full asking, both on PH and both went within 24 hours (one being the Esprit)
