Well I guess that at a push I could probably find garage space for one of these

However, following a somewhat illicit foray on the public highway (A2 Lydden-Dover-Lydden) in early hours of a Sunday during the late 70's...... I would dearly love a TZ750 Yamaha :P Just bolt trade plates on it, I dont care. :)

Nice choice! I love the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. Saw one at the Festival of speed a few years ago and just stared at it for about 5 minutes. One of the most beautiful cars ever:

Also saw an Alfa TZ2 at FOS:

I'm a man of simple taste, I have always been happy with the best. So,

Anything with a Lotus badge, Cortina, 7, 23, Elan (real one) Elise, Esprit of course, I like the 4cyl there's just something about it that's cheeky and quite fun to work with.

Aston Martin of course DB4, or V12, well why not both. Most defenitly an original Ginetta G4.

Then things like a GT40, a Morgan (for about 6 months) and a small ridable Ducati.

And then Just as an afterthought, how about a Bugatti 35 and then a Royale just for going to the opera! Well owning a Lotus was a dream once.

Well,

I have a Discovery 3, and have just imported int Australia a Triumph Grinnall TR7 V8.

My Esprit Turbo is about to leave the shores of Britain in the second half of August and this, I hope will help fund a V8 Esprit which I would really like.

As for a dream car, there is only one other. The Aston Martin Vanquish.

Cheers, Jerry

I was going to say XJ13 but there's only one and no amount of money will buy it.

Another of my dads cars, he was project leader and sitting in the car when it broke the speed record.

I'm surprised the McLaren took so long to make the list. It would be at the top of mine, accompanied by an S4 Elan and an Elise SC. 246 Dino would be nice as would a 1975 Lagonda. Not the William Towns folded paper design but this one.

Well... this is shameless personal ego-stroking... but.. Gavman... I've ridden in an MC12...

As for my fav's

Lamborghini Countach circa late 80's... Yes.. I know they are impossible to drive... and they break down.. blah blah blah.. but DAMN THEY ARE COOL!

Ferrari Testarossa... similar problems to Countach... but still an awesome supercar

Farrari 512bbi... understated beauty

Ferrari 246 dino... ridden in one of these... a friend has one.. such an incredibly sexy car.

Zonda.... definitely

Ariel Atom...

I know there's more... but those are the most classic and quickest I would want.

Modifying esprit's.. now that's fun..

PS... I AM NOT A CERTIFIED MECHANIC.. I Have chosen to help those in need, in the past and must not be construed as being a certified technician.
