Hi,

i'm a French guy who have lost is way and live in England. I working in Automotiv engineering (on engine control management), it's only five months i'm living in UK and i quite enjoying to live here.

And why i'm register in this forum is because for my coming birthday (30 year), i offer me a nice present : a Lotus Esprit V8

I'm not surprised! Chris (who is entirely bald) gave me his old comb (as I have far too much hair) for my birthday as a gift! :)

Thanks everybody. I have found right now my futur ride and put a deposit on it.

The car is from 1999, British racing green and 51 000 miles on the clock with an engine rebuild.

There is a lot of good point to become old specially for find a good excuse to make you nice present.

Thank Spiggsy, i have two big party and i'm pretty sure i will be really hard for me :zorro:

This week end i will collect my car and enjoy a big ride.

I pass the fight i have to found an insurance in UK (specially if you are quite new in the country) my first quote was 5500 pounds :) but i found one who offers me 5 year no claims and a nice price.

See you on Sunday for some pics and my first long ride impression.

PS : i just thinking to order a Larini exhaust muffler, waht do you think about it ?

I have my car since Saturday, i'm really enjoy it. I doesn't like so much when you loose grip the understeer and the lack of brack grip (but they brake good) after that this car is a dream to drive; i really need to change the exhaust muffler to have a better entairtenement.
