Where you standing on the letterbox or the bottom of the post there Matt, or is it the camera angle?

Just on the sidewalk, a few feet in front of the letterbox. The next corner south is the intersection of Seaman and Dyckman, but I'll leave it to someone more clever than me to think of a joke about that.

Ian,

Thanks for posting the Mansell Senna clip. I remember seeing that from my seat in the Woodcote Grandstand. It was a truly groundbreaking and brutal car that only Mansell seemed to have the balls to tame...... Bring back Red 5... and not on a poxy Red Bull either!

I know the feeling, Michael! I recently came across an ad for the very same "smartphones" that I had purchased for three of my family members for Christmas showing a $152.11 reduction in price. Each!!! I went back to the original retailer, receipt in hand, to see if they would honour a retroactive "price match," and they did. I hastily slinked out before they could change their minds. Of course, no cash was involved, so "check's in the mail." I'll believe it when I see it, but look at it as a "nothing ventured, nothing gained" excercise.:)

Somehow I don't think they'll be driving a Lotus so they probably won't be seeing this.....

No, but I've had a couple of rides in a 777, which itself is a bit like taking a ride in a large building.

I have it on good authority that the A380 does not really exist. Nothing that large could possibly get off the ground. Jetways for the presumed conveyance are actually hooked up to a mass holographic transporter beam enclosure, but Airbus is well aware that the general public is not quite ready to embrace this form of transport, and the folks in Toulouse have contracted with Deamworks and other CGI entities to produce a reasonably accurate illusionary experience able to convince most travelers that they have embarked on a standard flight itinerary.
