Series 0
Hey guys, anyone going to the Premier of the new james Bond film in Ipswich, there is a special showing at Cineworld 0n the 30th October 2/3 weeks before general release. The reason I ask is that there will be a special showing of Bond cars outside and your truely will be showing of my Esprit Highwing after receiving a special invite. I have just taken her out of dry storage for the last 15 months so I have accepted the invite and will be taking her up on the day. If anyone has a white Esprit, which is what they are after and fancy a afternoon/night out let me know, and I will get them to email you. the roster will include a Black Tie, drinks prior to the film, special Bond Auction, a show of the cars, film, and then casino to finish of the evening, going to be quite a gala night, so i have been told. The cars so far besides my Esprit are 3 aston martins vantage etc....... you know the usual run of the mill super cars. to finish of the BBC will be there along with associated press. So if anyone wants to add a bit of history to there cars.....now is the time ohh and its nice to be back in the forum................... ......................................Series

Series 0
Hi Andy, yep will be using her a lot now, just replaced the entire front braking system on her, so i want to keep her nice and fluid, rain, wind or shine, she will be going out. She is in absolute mint condition atm, had all the bodywork done stonechips etc while she was in storage, the only let down on her now is the interior, could do with a makeover, really tempted to have her completely stripped and refitted, but the credit crunch has put paid to that dream. red vtec 173
Hi, I drove past your house last week, gather it was yours as it had the Esprit on the drive way looking very white. Series 0
that would be great, Chris I simply must start using her again, I drove her on some trade plates when I bought her home and I had forgotten the simple pleasure of how nice she was to drive. Also that racing clutch that was fitted 2 years ago has finally bedded in, just shows you how little i have taken her out.
tsellekaerts 0
I've got a white Stevens (pearlescent white) and would love to attend with the Lotus. What do I need to do to get a 'white esprit invite'? Edited October 7, 2008 by Tobi Sellekaerts

andydclements 749
Glad you represented the Esprits. The link in your post isn't working, don't know if this one will. http://img231.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hpim0146me3.jpg Now you just need to talk to Bibs about some sort of discount for Club Esprit members or something for your company (I noticed it on the board), I'll probably have a look in a few months when i come to change my specs. Series 0
yep it was a nice evening, bloody freezing, and my heating in the Esprit decided that it was the evening it wasnt going to work, flippin cold drive back that night. But the Esprit stole the show had crowds around it all night leading up to the film, with any luck it might be featured in the local press, there was plenty of pictures taken. winners 16
I offered my white S1 and they said they'd already got an Esprit. I'm pleased you had a good time, but a highwing representing Bond Esprits!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Look what Q's brought us. Isn't it nice!
Series 0
I must admit that the Highwing is not a Bond car, but that didnt seem to matter to much to the organisers, as long as they had a white Esprit. Also one of the main attractions of the car, was that most people there had never seen an Esprit Highwing before, its novelty value alone caused a great deal of conversation which the organisers were delighted with. So there it is, the main thing is, a Lotus Esprit was present............... here is a link to You tube showing the BBC conducting an interview in front of it, only snatches of it I'm afraid.....
