10 disc changer - convert

Recommended Posts

hello everyone. i have been given a ford 10 disc multichanger (not the head unit) pretty sure these were made by sony (same make as the head unit i have in) i binned the one that was in the car as it was skipping. the unit has a 17 pin plug on it, (hard wired and has a long extension lead) is there a convertor / adaptor to change it to the connectors that are in the esprit as i dont want to be running a big lead from the sony head unit into the boot. any help would be great. cant fand anything on ebay.

It's so uncommon to want to change the adapter as most are paired I think it's very unlikely you'll find a convertor.

you can get convertors , as I know you can get them for fitting Alpine CD to the Jaguar head unit. not sure if you can get them for what you want though.

But just as cheap to get another unit
