Just bid £40,000 on this.  Yes a bit boring but locking down's happening and thought I'd get a bargain.

Looks lovely. Always liked the 550/575 and iirc Eddie Irvine rated it as the best driving Ferrari of its time.

Did the GT40 not happen Mark?

Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate.  Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies!

The first guy to ride a bull for fun, was a true hero. The second man to follow him was truly nuts!

Unfortunately not.  I was hoping to get it modified so I could fit it in, however the GT40 specialist even if they modified it, I still wouldn't fit as I'm to tall.

Careful @C8RKH - I had a similar issue with a Makita multi tool. The brushes were sparking and it smelt funny. My mate gave me some wd40 lithium spray stuff - which I swiftly sprayed in. Fast forwards a few seconds and the flaming Makita flambé was being kicked across the room 🤪

No spark, no funny smell, just a bloody micro switch that was playing up.  If it starts to flambe I'll be fine as i have a bag of Marshmallows hidden under my work bench in the garage - I like them dipped into my Americano! (coffee that is, not woman!)

Give it a few months for them to settle in and you'll be amazed mate! Slightly different but I had laser a few years back and it was quite the revelation - your vision corrected new lenses will be very similar :)

Is it a case of once it’s done that’s it?or will your eyes still deteriorate and need doing again?

They can be done again, and will sometimes need to be done again (I think it's called Age Related Macular Degeneration) and I was told that having thick corneas mean it wouldn't be a problem if required.

My distance vision is still ace but close up isn't as good as it once was.

Hi Barry, thanks.  The paint seems to have more depth, it's like a mirror finish.  And you don't need to polish the car for a year to two, just use a Quick Detailer.  It's also good for protecting the car against the elements.  I've been told it will take 2 weeks to cure, then the paint will look better still.

Thanks Mark, I'll look into getting it done. Was yours done locally?

It was done by Tom's Detailing & Valeting in Banbury.
