Plus most of them there are ex-Lotus people anyway!

Just got a refund of some money I paid for a TPMS, it's only £16 but that means the system came to £82 incl delivery, now to go and spend the £16 + several hundred more and purchase a new set of rims.

Coming out of Victoria Station this morning, and dodging the roadworks, I could hear the distant strains of 'Jingle Bells'. Was it the Salvation Army?..

Turning a corner, there was a bloke sitting on the pavement busking - making trumpet noises through a traffic cone.

Went to the local Cars and Coffee this morning where a bunch of enthusiasts rock up at a local cafe car park and show off their cars.  Several Mustangs, a couple of Gallardos and even a drop-head Audi R8 in attendance as well as 2 Elises.  But the car that consistently had a good crowd around it was a really tidy Lotus 7 Series 2.

 

Nice to see that, even in the Mid-West, people can appreciate quality.

The simple pleasure of driving a Citroen GSA (-like a mattress with an outboard motor if you`ve never tried one and essential in these pothole-plagued days)-to the Elite and then driving that to where (fingers crossed) the blowing fuse problem got fixed.

Out at our local farm shop, lots of lambs arriving, ( ok, shame they'll be in the shop later but for now it's nice to see! ), stroll with the Mrs, nice lunch and a look a Ferrari 430, which somehow didn't do it for me compared to the Evora. Nice sunny evening, freezing as £^ck, but hey.... can't have everything.

True but it seems to be full of Porkers and Austin Healy's right now.... the 430 was parked up in Forest Row. Nice car but looks huge compared to the Evora, odd thing is it's only a couple of inches bigger here and there.

Got my Tamiya of a Lotus 78 and RedBull RB6 so I can keep myself occupied.   That RedBull kit is a bit complicated so I think I will start with the simpler Lotus kit.  Now to get some paint.

My old Esprit passed it's MOT with no problems again. Not bad for a 26 year old car.

I couldn't help myself and opened my ASR-10 sampler today to see if I could discover what had happened. One of the PCB's has 9 fuses associated with the power supply. According to the service manual which I was able to download off the web (what a wonderful thing it is), this does happen.

 

Lo and behold, several fuses are blown. Hopefully, that is all and there is nothing else at issue.

I had a case in the small claims court recently, I got judgement a couple of weeks ago. Today I received settlement, only a small amount of money, but it feels good to have a win when some one really pisses you off. More than I claimed for too.

The weather is awesome, I have been to the gym 4 days in a row, eating healthy and stayed off the alcohol! I feel very very happy!

 

Now to go treat myself to a new motorbike at the weekend and everything shall be awesome!
