NW Lotus Rolling Road Day 2006

Iam organising a rolling road day for the North West area Lotus owners. For those who have to travel long distances and may not be able to make the LEW Ipswich power day, this is an ideal opportunity to see what power your Lotus is pushing out.

It will be held at Peco International in Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside.

I'm taking my S4 ovber to PNM on the 27th Feb. He'll probably need it a week, perhaps even two. Then isn't it Donington on the 18/19th March.

Hi all, I will get the availible dates for Feb and March. It won't be around Donnington as Iam sorting out PNM stand so I'll be busy.

Will post the dates later this week.

It can be as late as April if people want.

It will likely to be a Saturday as well.

PNM is only 2 mins away incase anyone needs any parts or their car breaks down (hope this doesn't happen!).

Yes, Pete has picture of new tool Lotus use to do insitu. He said he can make a new tool for this. I was only talking about this yesterday. I will ask him today how quick he can get the tool ready.

Oh, just spoke to Adrian about night out, he's up for it. Iam free most weekends so we'll have to go out soon!

Just reading the Milton Keynes Rolling Road day. I can get the same date and time of Saturday 8th April 2006. We can sort something out with trying to link the two together.

I would really like to keep this Lotus only day but if we have to let others it then OK. I can easily get a few Porsches etc to make up numbers but prefer if we can make it a proper LEW/LEF NW meet.

Is everyone free on this date? Can you please confirm ASAP.

Oh Alan Corft had a good idea. If both venues have a pc with internet, we can link via LEF forum. We can start a new thread on the day and post up results as they happen.

If they haven't got internet access then a laptop with 3G access.

It would be good to use technology to bring two events from different parts of the country together.

Could always use MSN and a webcam as well. I have two spare webcams...
