Jonathan
Mid sized run around I can leave in brixton without too much trouble LOL. As much as I love using the Esprit as my every drive there are places I cannot really take it and to be honest I do need something cheap and pracitcal but not too big. Has to have some hmmmm factor and some fun attached to it Celica ? (old style - like the rally cars) Corrado ? (the VR6 is still silly money - G60's are a bit few and far between - would also need new wheels becuase the stock 7" rims look ridiculous) Astra ? Escort RS2000 ? (Followed one last night - still looks good for its age, good price range too) C'mon car boffs, what else is out there. Can't go too big, ie mondeo size / estate. nello
Jonathan - how about a Fiat Coupe 20VT - absolute hoot to drive / great sounding 5-cylinder unit / quick / stylish and they are at rock-bottom price wise now. peteyg
Depends how practical it needs to be but I had an Alfa GTV 2.0TS which was brilliant. Great engine noise for a 4 pot and handles brill for a FWD car - looks fantastic too. Downside was it's basically a 2 seater and you could just about fit a sandwich in the boot. Kimbers
Respect or shot for competing with other pimps!! I dunno Jon. I'd buy something dirt cheap, no fun and not worth nicking if I was parking there. Also something you don't mind getting keyed! Old Escort, Fiesta is my recommendation. Quote Possibly save your life. nello
I quite like those 607's for some bizarre reason James?!?!!! Something about the arse-end that looks a bit-retro....... Same reason we bought the wife a Fiat Stilo - ridiculously cheap and her's is an Abarth-ised 3-door. I think they look great with 17" wheels like ours

Jonathan
Yeah I did say I wanted a bit of fun built into there somewhere hehe. I run around in the Ka at the moment (4 wheel drift in that is hilarious before you ask) - I was thinking of the sport Ka but not sure, haven't looked and not to sure if the owner would let me drive it properly to test it. Prelude - never heard a bad word against them, everyone seems to love them so I'll have a look - thanks for reminding me I like the old Primera as well but not sure if that'll be too big - dont really want anything larger than an escort though Quote facebook = jon.himself@hotmail.co.uk
