Tips on Painting an Esprit

There was a big write up section titled

"Paint your Elan the Mick Miller Way"

in the last edition of the Club Lotus mag.

I know it's about the Elan, but it should apply to the Esprit.

If you can get hold of a copy or PM me and I'll scan it for you and mail it, it does have some good tips on how to get that perfect finish.

Hi Alejandro,

I am no pro, but did a repaint on an S3 Esprit.

The main point it to grind out any stress cracks in the gel coat and repair using glass fibre tissue / matting, whilst reinforcing from the back.

A face mask and a 4" broad brush should do it. Can't say much about the finish but it will change the colour nicely
