Hi there,

With some modifications they can fit. You can either cut the body carefully with a dremel or cut the arches.

For help and assistance I would suggest starting a new thread so people can see you project and problem.

Dave Walters

will do, Dave

@ Adrian : sorry for 'hijacking' your thread on the wheel arch extensions story :hrhr: Sent you a PM about wheel spacers (sorry, misspelled your name, should be Adrian iso David ; just awake :s ...)

Rob, I did think about matt black for the wheels as I saw a picture of a Ford GT in orange with matt black wheels and it looks mean but I love the silver almost polished finish and cant bring myself to change them just yet.

Don't touch that dial! You have years to go before they are scabby and need refinishing, no point in buying new and then stripping them. New paint, new wheels, I reckon you need a garage now bud.

In the garage no-one can hear you scream

wheels are great, side stickers (GT3) look great on orange, black plates rock (I didn't know you could have black plates ?), only I would remove the small stickers on the rear bumper, but that's just my opinion :D

Conclusion : your car's GREAT !

Hans,

Actually you cant have black plates, at least not on a car newer than 1972, They are basically show plates I dont take off, but carry a legal set in the boot in case I get stopped.

You could always get a "dateless" or pre-73 plate anyway, I find most people can't guess the age of specialist cars. Won't stop a curious plod doing a search on you but might lessen the suspicion.
