Mechanical Boost Gauge

I'm just in the process of hooking up a VDO Mechanical Boost Gauge and want to know here other people who have do it hooked their Vacuum line up to? I was thinking of hooking mine up to the Boost Gauge Transducer line... Any suggestions?

Put a tee in the MAP sensor line, this is the hard black plastic line going from the rear of the intake manifold into the right side. See my website for a pictorial.

Thanks Sanj, so you think hooking it up to my Boost gauge transducer line coming from the intake is not has good as the line from the MAP sensor.... What kind of Vacuum reading do you get of your gauge, when you tap the gas peddle? I bought the same setup as you... Thanks Felix

The line to the boost transducer is before the throttle plates, so you will not see vacuum under liftoff, and the boost reading may not be as accurate. At idle, I see about 10" of vacuum.
