I had 3 cops do a double take at the front of my car here in Colorado today as we are a front number plate required state but I am looking for something that fills the plate requirement just not a CO plate and not something that screws on or fits over my grill. Yeah, I got pulled over a couple of times when I lived in SoCal for a Union Jack number plate but each time got off because I had a plate on the front and the DMV law was not specific enough. Don't know whether they have fixed that in the 5 years years since I left. I do know a lot of states are going to front plates as they are looking seriously at European photo cameras as extra revenue. AZ just decided as off January I believe.
