Love the features - ESP. the USB & SD / MMC card reader! Superb!

Wonder what it actually SOUNDS like tho :D

and those supposed 4x45W....

My money says that's related to PC speaker Watts where one "W" is equal to approximately one Gorilla :)

45 watts in to what? power out put in relation to watts depends on speaker impedance..

ie 45 into 4 ohms is nealy equal to 22.5 into 8 ohms

far more useful to talk about sound pressure level, but its not much cop as a selling tool...

The 45W will be max output as well. More than likely around 20W RMS into 4 ohms. The idea pf ahaving an MMC or SD card or USB interface is good put it means cramming even more technology into a one DIN unit so other components have to suffer as a consequence!

are you lot using the emulators?  i have virtual versions of all these machines running in an xp window.  can't keep up with all the old game titles available for free.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I have an emulator for the sinclair spectrum 48k, got it for nostalgic

reasons and the need to play 'Turbo Esprit' again to see what it was

that i liked about it. Manic miner, Attic attack, Chucky egg and all the

eighties classics are on my disc...

...however...

I to still have my old Amstrad CPC 464 stored away in my parents attic, use to have some great games on it. If I recall it also had a Esprit game. I remember playing it all those years ago. You got to dive an esprit round a city from the view of the steering wheel. Then you could also go on missions chasing other cars. definatly wasn't your 'Grand Tarismo'

someone gave me gran tourismo because they saw my car in it. i don't see the appeal. the textures are photographically detailed. yet what the wheels do, appear to have no contact with what the ground does. they should repackage it as a torvel and dean ice dancing game.

for me the nintendo NES games are still the best for gameplay, even with the limited graphic capability.
