Jonathan
Its the way of the future. I think you're once bitten twice shy on the Esprit Kimbers, it was unfortunate that the one you bought turned out to be a problem for you and cost a fair whack of money to put right. Financially the Exige is probably the better option, I was looking at Elise/Exige prices the other week and was suprised to see how little they had fallen and how much in demand they still are. Thing is with the interest in the bank you're quite right, you might as well put it into something and get the enjoyment out of it ! I want a diddy car now hawww Quote facebook = jon.himself@hotmail.co.uk
martynv
Welcome to the Elise / Exige club Kimbers. Looks good and very yellow . So the main question is are you brave enough to turn the traction control off . I reckon the way things are going we should have and LEF Elise/ Exige meet this year sometime just for a bit of a laugh. Hope you enjoy your new toy. No he won't, He does not spend enough money on hair products or clap without question and agree with anything his mates say online. superdavelotus
Nice car Tony, I really like the Exige and Elise supercharged versions. So what year is it? If I wasn't so big and could get in and out easier I would have one! Sadly missus won't let me have one and keep the Esprit. I said that because she is on my insurance for all my cars that she come come out with me at the weekend in the two cars but she said that she wouldn't get in an Elise never mind drive one. She was't saying this because she doesn't like them it's more on principals because i grind her down too much about buying cars! There's also another car which Iam not suppose to mention on here that Iam looking at but again, missus wants shut of the my Esprit first. Iam test driving some motors over the next week but Iam trying to keep my Esprit too. If the maths don't work out then I need to rethink. So when do you pick it up? ramjet
Well done Tony. Hope you have fun in it. Just looked on carsales over here and there is an Exige S in Perth with all sorts of options on it. $93,000! Hope you didn't pay that... As for keeping your license. That is easy. Drive slowly. (yeah right...) Edited March 7, 2009 by ramjet Quote All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit. Opinions are like armpits. Kimbers
Well I'm not giving away anything on the cost. Lets just say that on a 57 Plate (thats just a year old) it wasn't cheap. I'm having a few things done at the factory at present and it will be out as soon as I can get the money over there. Lets just say thatI had to take a loan but it's not as bad as I thought as I settled another loan, extended the period and only pay Quote Possibly save your life. DarrylV8
Hi Tony, Welcome to the little cars, on my second Elise now, not the head turner of an Esprit, but more usable with possibly more driver satisfaction. Always wanted an Exige but would need to sell the old Esprit to justify, enjoy cheap motoring when compared to the Esprit. Kimbers
Colin, it's not just the manic 0-60 time but the Torque figures per tonne are just amazing!
