Twin outlet exhaust

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm looking for a twin outlet exhaust for my 90 NA Esprit for month and failed :D

I'd like the design of that QuickSilver's 'Sports' system but it's only for Turbo version.

Or this system from Ramspott & Brandt (Germany)

I'd understand that if I fix one of the above system to my NA car, I'll lost power or get backpressure...will I?

So, where can I fine one of this twin outlet system for the NA Esprit?

Any help?

Thanks,

Upgrade today to remove Google ads and support TLF.

There are several options - depends how loud you want to get!

Custom options are quite common, Bibs had one made for his NA by Torque Techniques in Salisbury as did I for the SE.

I'm sure there is an NA version off the shelf from quicksilver too...

I've got a very nice twin system on my 89 n/a but you'll have to ask Bibs for the details as he is the one that had it fitted back in the day...

Its very nice and provides plenty of popping and banging :D

Really liking that quad, suits the car.

Best bet is to get a custom exhaust done, the twin above is the Larini for a turbo's car.

If you get an exhaust that is custom made it will be better overall.

Is there any point in having a twin exit apart from looks?

I read that twin are only performance items on V engines as each bank of cylinders then has an exhaust helping with gas flow. Is that correct?

ps I like the look of twin exit.

Mine (see the picat the top) offers about 15-20hp on the standard system.

The sound is much improved, better torque, better power, better looks, better durability....

Talking of Larini exhausts, what do you reckon to mine? Just finished fitting it today along with new rear mesh. I've left the cat in but i still get flames out the back, sounds awesome too.

This is what I did :

- put a Larini Dual Exhaust on my S4

- changed the end tips to 90 mm (stainless steel, welded)

Looks like this :

Closer look on the tips :

Difference between original Larini tip (bolt on, lol) and new :

Looks perfect now I think
