Car's getting ready to be started but becuase it has no MOT I am not going to drive it. It's been standing for about 4-6 weeks now and I wanna run it up to temp as quick as possible without causing too much damage from over-reving.

Any suggestions ? Was planning to put it on fast idle (2000 rpm) for a while to get it going - idea/bad idea ?

Just take it out for a run. After that length of time I wouldnt be able to wait especially given all the work you've been doing.

Go on we wont tell . . ..

Insurance ?

Call churchill...I know someone who recently lost control and wrote their car off only to find he forgot the MOT a few weeks back. In the dry mebbe but it's slippery out there on the Elise-ometer as it is....thats not factoring in other drivers.

After the hassle with the last one I am taking ZERO chances with this car !

Neither do I... I'm sure you can create a back pressure somehow, those potatos might just work. :D

A nice big round potatoe with a small hole in the middle should work fine .... hehehehe ...

Removing it with a cork-screw should be a lot of fun, too :D

hihihihi
