Popular Post Veilside
004 was suppose to be at the Silverstone Classic the other Sunday but decided to stay at home with the weather forecast not looking good, been sat in the garage ever since waiting for somewhere to go so this morning put in an appearance at a local classic event at Ilkeston Town Centre Market Place - 20 mins away. 7

nello
I know we've mentioned it on here before but David Thieme's Countach is featured in this video. Interesting to note he could not order it in Blue with Red leather so had to settle for Red with Blue leather - so the video say anyway - still stunning though!

nello
As has been recently posted on FB so should probably add here - Dev. car 001 which we have seen on this thread before - I like how it still had its custom Ski Racks fitted. Nearly loses it at 00:26!
Fridge
Interesting video, but empty ski racks look pants.

Bazza 907
Looking at the cars around it highlights what an amazing sight an Essex must have been back in the day. I'd be having kittens with the car behind parked so close. 1

nello
That Allegro estate looks like a Hearse! Sooo much glass.......... I have MPW75V as being Passed to Sale (leaving the factory) on 4th June 1980. As mentioned it was a Pre-Prod car. Its also listed as being used for a Demo at Le Mans that year. Bazza 907
Steve We could have a great 40th this Summer..
Popular Post Veilside
Barrie, We should make a 40th effort to organise something with a venue and date. For example using one of the Cambridge Lotus meetings or the Silverstone Classic as the the venue, would some of the car mags be interested in an Essex 40th ? We've only ever managed two Essex's in the same car park at the same time, who's up for it ? ps who would be in charge of organising the weather, Bibs could easily sort that he's good at organising things. 2 3
