The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

I'll post just the once on this...

Car goes in for 'Anything that can be found' work

on the 11th, and i'm due to pick it up on the 18th.

So i should have car back with service, rack, gearchange,

maybe some front brakes and god knows what else he finds

as it ain't seen the workshop for a year now...

:)

So i should have no excuse not to want a long test drive.

...And i should have nothing better to do this time too!

:(

Howard,

How about a blast up the A41 to Chester. Perhaps Superdavelotus and some of the North West boys could meet us for a coffee before we blast back down the A49 to Market Drayton.

Graham.

one shot and I like your idea, so what we need now is a meet and lunch venue near chester and some locals to meet

Back in 1981 there was a good pub called "The Ring of Bells" in Christleton just off the A41. I suppose it may have changed a bit over the last 25years ! Failing that theres always parking and food by the Dee. Perhaps a bit of a reccy in January. Good excuse for a drive...........should a good excuse be needed.

Graham.

Just had a look at the Chester town map and the place I used to park and scoff by the Dee has now been pedestrianised..........bugger!

There still seems to be plenty of parking outside the race course on the A548. Just outside the city walls but from memory there is a pub next door.

We must have someone on the forum who lives in Chester and can point us in the right direction. If not, I'll gladly investigate in the new year.

Howard,

I'll be there. Expect I'll have to bring my 11 year old along as well. He'll be playing football at about 1pm so don't expect I'll be stopping long at Oulton.

I've extended the invite to a couple of lads in my neighbourhood both of whom have either S2's or S3's..........I can't remember! I'll let you know when they come back to me.

Cheers,

Graham.

Hi all,

Can't make the meet unfortunately. Just come back from hospital this morning and I'm on medication which means I can't drive. I have been undergoing test on my prostate for past 4 months which is another story.

I have opted to go with the missus to a christening where she can drive. Still trying to get in good books with her also.

Hope you have a good time on Sunday, remember to post plenty of pics!

Sorry to read that Dave. Get well soon.

I'm with Peter Monday morning (about 11.00am). Am I likely to bump into you?

Cheers,

Graham.
