Hi Jonathon. is it me or is there a restriction just after the flange? Problem is that not many exhaust manufacturers can bend 2.5" pipe so they have to do it in 2.25" then put a 2.5-2.25 reducer at the flange end.

Dave you're correct, when I spoke to the guy at Larini (who made it) he mentioned about the correct back pressure and so forth, he reakons it works well (as he would) but he knew a lot about the Esprit as well which was nice.

It's purely a style / maintenance thing really.

Assembled like a dream - just waiting to bolt it on !

If I can get it started for x-mas I will be so happy !!!!

Wehey - got it going sounds great.

Had huge problems lining it up though and it's still blowing around the EBPV spacer, the whole design/thing is a nightmare to work on without the car being up in the air, the cat flange is so stupidly tight to the cat body you can JUST about get the nut in there

The down pipe to near side bracket spacing is also a little out of tollerance, I'm going to re-order a new hanger and elongate the holes so you can slide the thing about to take the tension off the system.

Some big teething probs but overal it's good, at least she runs ok after 2.5 months in the quiet.

LOL didn't follow that, just lots of swearing and cursing. Gonna make a new adjustable bracket for it which should solve the issue....would have a been a good idea to start with tbh.

i thought i'd measured correctly, but because of the kinematic nature of the pipe, small angles of error made for huge gaps. yeah, an adjustable bracket would be slick.
