okell43 0
Can you tell me how to get to the lugs after removing the plastic trim ring from the OZ Saturn Plus wheels on an '01 Esprit?
fmxa 77
If you look at this picture, you can see the 5 cover screws in the wheel center. One of these unscrews and allows you to remove the center cover exposing the wheel nuts. You'll need the little OZ tool to remove the cover nut, or may be a torx (can't recall!) If you've got the Lotus emblem covers there may be only one screw to remove Edited September 8, 2009 by fmxa Quote Paddle Faster, I hear Banjos!
okell43 0
Yeah, I got those off, but the cover is still intact. So would a rubber mallet work to free this up or I noticed one of the torx screws was longer. Do you use this to re-insert to free the cap? Maybe it's just stuck. I'll use the mallet. I don't want to marr these up, but I need to get the wheel off. I appreciate your response, Thank you.
fmxa 77
There should be only 1 screw (the longer one) holding the cover on (as far as I recall). If you've got this off and it's still attached, I'd give it a gentle whack with a rubber mallet. Edited September 8, 2009 by fmxa Quote Paddle Faster, I hear Banjos!
