? about heater control dial

hi. since i bought the car, the hot-cold dial has never lined up with the graphics on the panel. is the graphic off, or is the potentiometer mounted wrong? just wanted to check before i start on a custom heater panel. i'm abondoning the ugly original graphics, so this would be the time to do any necessary repositioning.

uhh... not quite sure I understand.

how does it not line up? the start and end positions of the pot are out of whack with the graphic? to what extent?

mine line up perfectly.

mine goes past cold about 4 degrees, and doesn't get to the end of the hot range. i'll make an adjustment. thanks.

Pulled my panel off this weekend to see why the lights and fan aren't working.

When you remove the dials (press in pin on sides) pull off the black panel, you'll see the control 'stalks' are fastened with a washer and nut (15mm). Loosen nuts and rotate control arms to proper position and nip them up.

Simple fix. Not so easy was sorting out the butchered wiring behind the panel to sort out why I pulled it off in the first place...
