That's the rate of wear on the AO48s so far at Snett first, then Bedford, and pretty consitent wear across all four. Can we only source replacements from a dealer? Looks like I might need a few sets this year.

My local dealer, Barnet, I don't find very helpfull. Scott and the guys are in a different league altogether but, much as I love to mill around taking up too much of their time, they're 45 miles away!

I'm in Radlett, Herts, by the way.

I think you can get them from Eliseparts http://www.eliseparts.com/shop/index.php?m...products_id=225

I am going to talk to my local tyre specialist (who has a huge sign saying "Yokohama" above his workshop) this very weekend. I have a track day next Friday and will probably need a new set of 4 after that.

I think we all will. After going through 5/6 heat cycles the tyres performance tends to fall off quite dramatically and are pretty much shot.

Just an update - after a week of messing around, my local tyre specialist finally admitted he couldn't get the LTS compound A048's (they are only avaliable from Lotus) and offered me M compound instead.

Naturally I declined and will shortly be visiting B&C to have a replacement set fitted. Luckily Scott won't be there so I should avoid the attacks on the wallet that result from discussions with him :D
