have you read the ad carefully, in italics at the begining , it says ( the bike ) does this mean he is selling a bike and just giving a description of a car he has ????//

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

oh I read it twice but the thing is that he tells you about the damage on the rear quater and the shell snapping above the filler cap even in your wildest imagination it would be hard to explain that one into a bike, truth is i dont know but he aint contactable via ask seller a question which makes me suspicious but even if you bid your not bound to buy if the item is misleading or so im led to belive so if you stick a picture of a car on ebay in reality you should be selling a car not a bike.

going to e-mail him via his web mail and see what comes bake if it is a car its going to be very rough i am convinced of that but if it is genuine then its still cheap to buy and strip.

Anyone else thinking about that gold v8 that went missing in Turkey... :(

Notice that the lotus boss is missing from the bonnet and how good that yellow looks.... call me a conspiracy theorist but methinks recent respray. And what about that yellow V8 engine, weren't they all blue or red originally? File off the engine VINs - repaint engine in some spare yellow from the main repsray to cover-up filing marks. Fake a serious accident and have to replace/make extensive repairs to chasis and you can legally get new chassis numbers and possibly even a new reg. Okay I know it's a shot in the dark but

To me it looks like the one that was sold a while back by Nick (I'm talking 12 - 18 months back) when the damage was clearly visible. And major damage it was too in my opinion. Then from memory it popped up a month or so ago fixed.

It's only worth what some one is willing to pay - and this current seller seems to be missing something up top.

You're right - the pics are of the car that Nick Warren was selling on eBay that ended on 14th Jan hitting reserve price.

View the auction here

Wreaks of dodginess if you ask me. Not on the part of Nick I must add as there's plenty of happy punters who've bought cars from him before.

Even the description has been lifted from the original listing; It looks like a bogus auction.

Even if he had won the auction, I doubt that he would have even collected that car yet......

I can't see the new auction! Does anyone have the link?

This happened a few months ago with someone else on this forum involving one of Nick Warren's cars. It was a car he had advertised for
