front suspension diagram

Hi All

has anyone out there got a detailed diagram of the front suspesion on the G car ?

the one in the parts manual is woeful !!

any help would be welcome as mines been apart so long and i am strugling

Mine's in bits at the moment for fitting new shockers - let us know what bit you are stuck on & I'll comment as best can. Seems pretty straight forward though if you have all the bits to hand, just fiddly. Good supply of swear words handy when getting the coils out/in

Look at notes on LEW, useful tips there re : roll bar, although same effect happens if you fasten up the tops of the shocks together, last.

I have a diagram from the S3 and Turbo manual - not sure if it is better than the parts manual as I don't have it. I have scanned in the whole manual (using a high volume scanner not sheet by sheet!! ) for my own use and am happy to send you a section if you want. PM your email address.

have all the parts now and think i have worked out the order of rebuild !

think its stub axle ,caliper mounting plate then backing plate last !!

will soon find out
