Show us your model car collection!

Wow what a cool car. I would live to see one in person. Do you know how many were actually sold? Sounds interesting...

Shah

I've only seen pics of this one and a lemon yellow one (which lost the neat headlights and wheels) so 2 at best; maybe only one if the yellow item was the prototype done up to be road legal.. Unfortunately all the websites about it seem to be in Japanese so it's difficult to find facts and figures.

In the garage no-one can hear you scream

The grey one came from some odd toy set. The cars can be pulled back and then they spring forward. The black stuff underneth connected all the cars together. I don't seem to remember any other details. At the time (many, many moons ago), I was just happy to find another esprit toy.

Im up to 68 in the James Bond car collection, 68 being the white Lotus Esprit Turbo, they have already done the S1 and gold ski rack Esprit.

I have a box full of Carama model in the attic, they used to sell loads in the poundland store so I would be buying them ten or more at a time, I have some displayed, but just don't have the room, they are fighting for space over the Star Wars, Tomb Raider, Wallace and Gromit, Terminator, Red Dwarf and American Chopper bike collection!

Plus the 1:1 size R2 D2 sitting on my hobby room floor at the moment! I'll try and get the cars down and take some pictures.

I do have a matchbox/hotwheels Esprit, Elise and Evora sitting under one of my computer monitors. Again next to the K9, Vader, Stormtrooper, bikertrooper, tie pilot, luke pilot mini figures, oh and a 9" Trekky Picard figure! I just have too many hobbies!!!!

Owen

Here's some pictures I done for my website of my models.

Sorry if I went OTT with the collection pics. I've been collecting for several decades, so it has become pretty extensive. The thread title is afterall, Show us your model collection.....

Richard, Black Turbo Esprit in 1/18:

http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-LOTUS-ESPRIT-TUR...p3286.m63.l1177

I have the auto art 1/43 black Turbo Esprit and didn't see any on ebay, maybe they're a bit rare afterall?

Owen, Nice model pics.....really.
