Interesting to watch the comparison on Fifth gear recharged yesterday, Plato had a petrol Elise vs the Tesla Roadster. The Elise won by 3 secs. He loved driving it.

Hi All,

just became a first time Lotus owner after buying this 2005 111R. Pleased to say its been beyond my high expectations and understand why people fall in love with this little car. not sure you can get a better weekend car for the money.  having always been a classic mini owner, driving the 111R for the first time was like sitting in a baby supercar.
