trunnions

Hi all

iv just fitted new trunnions but they were a pain in the ar** to go into position !! should they be this tight or have i created a problem ??

Please tell me you didnt wind them all the way on to the thread till it got realy tight?

Back them off one turn and see how they are then.

Dont forget EP 90 oil and not grease!

no my problem was actually getting them actually in position.

do i have to lube the bush ?

You had trouble with the nylon bush on the bottom of the trunnion?

I have never really had a problem sliding them into the lower control arm and inserting the bolt.

You didnt damage them when inserting them into the trunnion did you?

got another new one today and while it was still hard to install it now rotates freely !
