Refinishing engine - Plenum and Cam covers

It seems to be a crinkle finish in what I can only describe as a 'light red'. Has anyone any suggestion for sourcing the paint, please?

Looks to be a spray finish. I have spray gear if it doesn't come in spray cans.

Moss - the people who do MG and Triumph spares - do spray cans of crackle finish paints - mine was in black and they had it - don't know about red, check their website. Sperex VHT also do crackle finish aerosols.

Check out LEW they've got all the Lotus paint codes and the red crincle is listed.

Can't remember if its the red or black they still have stock of.

I had the plenum and valve covers powder coated in red, and it looks stunning, not to mention more durable then the paint. I did a smooth finish, but you can get a crinkle finish with powder coating as well.

http://www.caswellplating.com they offer the wrinkle finish Red Powder. You can do it yourself if you have a spare oven, if not you can see who in your area does it. I powder coat a ton of parts
