Anyone fancy this? I was on holiday last year and missed it.

Fastlane

Can we get a show of hands with likely attendees? I'm going to flag it up on the Excel/Elite/Eclat forums too;

1. Mark - Esprit and possibly Elite

Sounds good don't mind the drive, do the car and me some good. 338 miles and 6 hrs drive so BB then?

Seriously? The more the merrier obviously, but it's just a regional show, don't expect Pebble Beach or anything!

So that's a GT3, 2xS4, and an S1 so far.

Save yourself for a bacon sandwich or cooked breakfast in Martha's cafe in Corbridge town square, locally produced stuff that tasteswub.gif . Was going to suggest meeting up here beforehand anyways.

Last weekend I followed a mate to the Dyvels for the Ferrari Club NE meeting and met the organiser, Dave. He runs the pub, has a Testarossa, and is a complete Ferrari nut (but we'll forgive him that slight error in judgement ! )

Have to say he was a really nice bloke, the food & beer in the pub was excellent, and he has 3 B&Brooms for anyone interested. He is trying to tie down the numbers attending fastlane so could everyone interested email the forms back to him ASAP?

It also gets me thinking; this is the only car-friendly pub I have come across in many moons, and deserves our patronage. I have tried and failed before to interest establishments who only see car clubs as an inconvenience, taking up parking space that they imagine is being taken from drinkers/diners. I wonder if we could make this a regular or semi regular meeting spot? Any thoughts?

TBH apart from the £5 entry for exhibiting cars and 2 passengers I haven't looked at normal entry prices. If you aren't bringing the car it's a hell of a long way to drag the family!

I'll be there. If it is as good as the turnout for last year's meet it'll be a great day out.

I dropped the form back into the pub last Saturday at the Ferrari OC meet (owner has a Testarossa). The star of the day was another owners new purchase, unfortunately it probably wont be at the show;
