Clear Lenses on 89 Turbo

Anyone with a US Esprit pre 93(SE style front bumper) installed the clear lenses that Marcus sells at PUK? He wasn't sure if they would fit the US Lucas lamps and I would hate to lose 30 bucks in shipping to buy something that "might" fit. Any help would be appreciated. If you have clear lenses, where did you get them and are they still available?

Hi there. I wasn't aware that US are Lucas? The fronts are COBO aren't they? If yours are Lucas then they won't fit. Easiest way is to buy two sets, cut them and glue together.

I did this on my 90 turbo and have done an install guide

Alternatively, if you send me an old unit I'll see if we can get it moulded in clear to suit the US market

I think its the opposite, mine have lucas molded into them in the dot numbers, I contacted Jeff at JAE and he originally got a set of the Radicast lenses and they didn't fit the lamps, he recommended the cut and glue method which I may end up doing, which, when I do that I will definitely be willing to send you my set to use for molding a set for others!

The Euro lenses will not directly fit the US housings. They can be modified to fit, mainly the screww bosses have to be shortened.
