just joined the forum as I am interested in finding an S2 & want to learn all there is about these cars.

I'm in Sydney, Australia, so would also like to know what sort of Esprit presence there is here?

Did I mention I used to own a Ford Fairmont Aussie car? Cracking motor in a straight line.....tended to roll into corners.....literally.......

Anyway, welcome Tom, there were a fair number of Lotii sent to Australia...but just the bad ones

Lived on a farm near Drouin, Vic back in the late 80's, early 90's.

Never saw a Lotus in all my time there but had great fun in my Aussie built '66 Mini Cooper S thrashing my mates' Dunnidores and Fulcrums around the twisty dirt roads

Will be visiting next Christmas so give me a shout if you want me to put an S2 in my luggage

There's a red S2 for sale through the Lotus Club Queensland website. http://www.lotus.org.au/forsale/forsale.htm.

I'm in Melbourne but there are a fair amount of S2's around from what I have seen - whether the owner's want to part with them maybe another matter!

Try each of the Lotus clubs. Queensland, NSW & Victoria all have fairly extensive clubs.
