Works were undertaken by Esprit Specialists SJ SPORTSCARS who completely dismantled the car. The body was carefully prepared and beautifully repainted in its original colour. The chassis and the entire running gear were completely rebuilt, using new parts wherever necessary. The rolling shell was despatched to the marque trim experts, NICK FULCHER COACHTRIMMERS in Norfolk who are the sole suppliers of the original carpet, green plaid, and tartan employed by Lotus Cars in mid the 1970's. The original factory production templates were used and the original hand employed to ensure total authenticity and accuracy of all of the trimming aspects.The car was completed by SJ SPORTSCARS in 2007.
