907 engine block tolerance

Recommended Posts

i measures my 907 engine block.

the head and upper/top block surface are perfect and under the toleraces given in the workshop manual.

also the lower block bearing side is perfect.

the biggest tolerances are on the lower crank case (shown in the picture).

do i have to buy a new one or will it bent back correct when i screw it on the block?

I'd have thought the main block would straighten it out without issue.

It will be fine when you bolt it back up. As long as the crank runs free, you have nothing to worry about.
