Which car?

Yes its pretty easy, I'm assuming you know its not the hydraulics not working?

Theres a few ways of doing it. First make sure the slave cylinder is working correctly though.

Car in gear, foot on the clutch and rock the car back and forwards.

You can try freeing it using the starter motor for one, put the car in gear, foot on the clutch and try starting the engine, only engage the starter for a second as your only using it as a shock on the plate.

The other way needs 2 people, one with foot on clutch, the other then uses a large flat blade screwdriver whtough the timing hole in the gearbox casing and gently ease the plate away from whichever surface its stuck to, rotate the engine a little and do it again all the way around. That should do the trick.

I'm sure others will have other ideas but the above has always worked for me.
