Help required on how to fix door movement

Opening my drivers door and getting hold of it there seems to be excessive play when i try and lift it up, also alignment isn't great when the doors closed!

Is this a matter of replacing something with the excessive play on the door hinges or do i need to adjust something?

Hi mate, not sure if it the same as my 1990 but if you remove the carpet around the door pillars youwill be able to get to the nuts. The hinge has a number of slot washers and most importantly a surrated anti slip washer, if this is missing then the door will drop like mine. Make sure also that the washer is in the right place ie between hinge and first washer( want to check this in the manual) hope this helps.

There are a couple of plastic (or nylon or poly) 'top hat' shaped bushes that wear. SJ Sportscars sell them - I need 4 myself. I think they're about £15 each IIRC.
